yes. physical addiction to the drug means the body has become dependant upon it. sudden withdrawal can cause death. Many a heroine addict has died that way and it is a horrible way to die.

Depends on the drug. Suddenly stopping certain drugs can cause seizures and those can be fatal. There are many drugs that require a doctors care to come off of. Don't mess around with this!

If it did occur it would be an indirect cause like the seizure another answerer mentioned. The brain is addicted not the body, the physical effects are the brains way of telling you what it wants.

Im not a dr but Yes certain drugs can cause death when you detox from them. Usualy Alcohol and Barbituits. But I cant even spell barbituits so you should ask a Dr and call a rehab
Hospitals might try and give you crap but they have to accept you and detox you because Detox can kill/.

you need to think of the legal aspect of what you are planning. anyway if it is herion then the answer is no. the drug rehab facilities can make coming down a lot easier.

depends on how addicted he is what and how much he uses how frequently and so on but yes it is possible he could die
get professional help for him
