Bathroom - Bleach
Kitchen - Bleach on counters and sinks
Ammonia on the floors
Elsewhere - 409
Windows and Glass - Windex
Furniture - Murphy's Oil Soap or Johnson's Paste wax.
I buy CLOTH RAGS in bulk (as well as old t-shirts) and use newsprint on my windows.
I think all these "specialty" products are a waste of money and materials in the plastic they use in their packaging.

I use Windex on glass, TVs, mirrors, etc.
Fantastik with bleach for the bathroom sink, toilet, tiles, etc.
Soft Scrub with bleach for the stovetop, tub/tile, and kitchen sink.
Dr. Bronner's for mopping the tile, and for spraying down the kitchen furniture, counters, fridge, etc.
I really only do a deep cleaning like this on the weekends...for the rest of the week I use all-purpose cleaning wipes from Costco. Generally I don't really like the wipes though because they seem to leave a lot of dust behind.

I try to use homemade cleaning formulas when I can - baking soda, vinegar, etc. I avoid the premoistened wipes because they are more wasteful and contribute more to the landfills than sprays and they cost more per use. I also use rags as much as possible since they also can be reused, rather than paper towels which just get tossed.

I do not like these at all. Not only are they not environmentally friendly with all the waste they produce, you often have either too little or too much on the cloth for the task.
I use water and Starfiber microfiber cloths.

I think I am in agreement with you on this. The sprays go all over the place sometimes.
