In the early 1800's in america we did farm work. and had horse's and did all that but what about italians in italy what did they do?

The first industries appeared in Italy around the end of 1800's; in the early years of the XIX century our almost exclusive resource here in Italy was agricolture.
Here there were no machineries to work in the farms (which dimensions were smaller compared to the american farms) and a lot people in the countryside were belonging just one or two fields to work. For the soil tilling we were using mainly cows or donkeys while horses were mostly devoted to the transports of people or goods.

Some had mules and some had horses to work the land.
