E = mc^2

E is the energy equivalent to the mass (in joules).
m = mass (in kilograms).
c= speed of light in a vacuum (3 x 10^8 m/s)

No it is not calculus, simply an equation Albert Einstein developed in his special theory of relativity.

Energy = Mass times the speed of light squared.
.

e is energy m is mass and c is the speed of light
so c squared is obviously the speed of light by the speed of light

it is said that a mass going at c2 changes into energy

It's physics. Energy equals mass times the speed of light.

e=mc^2 is simple algebra.

e stands for energy, m stands for mass, and c stands for "celeritas", Latin for speed. ("squared" means multiplied by itself).

E= energy
M= mass
C^2= equivalent to speed of light in vacuo.

energy = mass times light squared
or basically if you multiply the speed of light by itself (squared) and you go that fast you will be able to time travel
