It is a 2004 gmc sierra with 45k mil on it. This happens two or three times a day.

The vent doors that are underneath the dash are vacuum operated. Use might have a line that is disconnected or even pinched. When turning the selector switch to AC or vent, listen for the vacuum noise and also listen for the doors to open or close. I hope that this helps a little! Good Luck!!!

If the A/C worked with the serpentine belt broke then that belt didn'tcontinual the A/C compressor. For the A/C to paintings it has to have a belt on it. If the A/C compressor comes on once you turn the A/C change, on then it is plausible which you have a undesirable orifice. The orifice is what makes the freon chilly.
