I'm serious this applies to the overwhelming majority of all politicians, including every current presidential candidate, GOP or Democratic, with the lone exeption of Ron Paul, here are 5 examples: 1. minimum wage, 2. social security 3. medicare/medicaid 4. gun control 5. federal reserve (in its current capacity). It truly is disgusting that modern politicians work to negate the American Revolution, so why do they do it?

Blasta Masta, they didn't have as many of the problems we have today? Oh really, tens of thousands of British regulars tearing up the country, oppresion of freedom of speech, and unlawful taxation weren't bad problems were they? Please think before you begin to type.

gomanyes, congress' regulation of commerce has to do with foreign powers not domestic businesses. I would not ask the question if it contained incorrect information... please stop lying.

None of those 5 examples you gave are violations of the constitution. For example, minimum wage falls under congress' power to regulate commerce (which the constitution explicitly says they can do).

Keep in mind the constitution was written over 200 years ago. Back then, they didn't have as many of the problems that we face today. I think the Constitution has been sickly twisted out of context and should be obsolete and redrafted to coincide with today's society. Politicians are all crooks and I trust them as much as I trust lawyers.

man, i'm sure glad somebody notices this sh** besides me. sometimes it feels like i'm alone. why does it happen? because it's an effective way for evil, corrupt, powerhungry heathens to gain control over our lives. how does it happen? because not enough people give a damn. they're too busy watching bad sitcoms and paying attention to what stars are wearing on the red carpet. politics is "boring".
