Your wifi software could be conflicting with one of the processes in the background. Try disabling your startups one at a time to see which one is causing the problem. You can disable them by running msconfig.

Have you used this wireless card before without any problems? If so, there must be something that has changed to cause these problems. For example, maybe you got a new laptop, changed some settings, have a new internet provider or router, etc.

If you have not changed anything, but you know it worked in the past, it could just be that the card is going bad.

Have you used the card in any other computers or at any other wireless hotspots to see if the problem is still there?

With this type of a problem I don't think you are going to find one definite answer that will fix it. You are going to need to try different things, check different things and look at the problem in different ways and such.

To me, it sounds like the wireless card has just gone bad, or something is wrong with your wireless. If you have any cordless phones nearby, that could cause it, if the router is too far away, on the ground, etc.

As you can see, there are a lot of possible reasons what could be causing the problems. I would start by reading the manual troubleshooting to see if you can figure anything out that way. Try some different things and see if that works... Finally, I would call the company to see if they can help you out at all. I've not worked with Raylink before, but I have worked with Netgear and Linksys, Netgear isn't too great, but Linksys is great as solving problems.

If you can't find a solution on your own, calling the company should solve the problem.
