OK, so me and my friend were walking home from school, we were walking properly on the sidewalk and reach a driveway of a coffee shop, there is a car pulled up blocking half the sidewalk waiting for a break in traffic to pull in (like everyone does), so we slow down and look both ways and see there is no break for her to pull in, and she is get this...STARING right in front out the windshield, right at us..so we asume its safe and pass infront on the other half of the sidewalk...while walking in front of her car she lets go of her break (slight incline) and starts rolling into the street...she hits my leg and my friends leg and wrist (she's shorter) we yelled "hey stop" while we were running into the road and ahead to get out of the way JUST as we get out of the way she applies the gas (we would have been in trouble if we got out of the way any later), she realized what she was doing and yelled out the window "oh sorry" and continues driving without stopping to see if we are OK.

I got the license plate, we are not injured or hurt...my friend just has a mark on her wrist from her bumper (must have been dirty). Do I do anything or just leave this crazy lady to keep on driving?

Why should I get my leg checked out?? There is absolutly no pain, damage, or anything. Same with my friend...she basically just tapped us.

I don't want her to go to jail or be charged with anything...I just want her to know that she can't do that, and maybe have the police talk to her.

You need to report this to the police and file a police report. You might not think she did any damage but you should get your leg checked out by a doctor and your friend should get her let and wrist checked out by a doctor.

If you let the woman get away with this it is not right. The woman was negligent in driving and it almost seem on purpose.

At this point, I would recommend filing a police report in case you wake up tomorow or the next day and find that there are injuries that you were unaware of today.

Aside from that, unless you were injured, you do not have a cause of action against her. The police may be interested in talking with her, however.

You should report the accident. You may not be hurt now, but what if something comes up later? You need to cover yourself. I would also get checked out and let her insurance pay for it. Good luck!

Report this woman. I would not want that to happen to anyone else! She has probably done this in the past. Do the society a favor, report her

Yeah, you could just report her, because even if you were not seriously hurt you could of been and she needs to take more accountability than a half a## apology. She didn't seem concerned about you, why should you be about her?
