ok. three men went to a hotel. the room was $30 a night.they stayed 1 night. so its $10 each. after they checked in the secertary noticed it was $25 a night. the bell boy kept $2 and gave $1 to each man.what happened to the other dollar?

nothing happened, the money was all accounted for because 2+3(1)+25=10
5+25=30
30=30

What other dollar? The hotel refunded $5. Of that the bellboy kept $2, and each of the 3 men received $1. That's where the $5 went.

all of the money is accounted for bellboy kept 2 then 1 for each guy plus 25...
2 + 1(3) + 25 = ?
2 + 3 + 25 = 30
