An ice age would cause sea levels to drop. This would mean any city with a shallow harbour or port would need to relocate the port facilities as they would be left high and dry. Many cities located at the coast are generally there because their industries are linked in some way with the sea. Those cities in the lower latitudes may become ice-locked, which could be disasterous for business.

Not rocket science kid.

Ice age. If you're too far north or south you get covered in ice.

Anything in a glaciers path gets bulldozed. Seawater has a warming effect, so a coastal city might survive a bit longer than it's inland cousin.

Be sure to buy a huge SUV. Global Warming. It's our only hope.

Depends on where they are. In the colder north or south they are liable to be covered with glaciers and this will cause erosion. In warmer places the sea level will drop quite drastically and there will be more land exposed by this.
