If I could, I don't think I would choose an artificial scent. We are all programed in that direction and brainwashed to believe that's the way to go. I too would choose mint , because of the choices available , it's the freshest.
BUT, for a permanent smell , I would choose the clean absence of smell . with the ability to take on essences of choice , to fit my activity.

It would be the smell of horses, the stable, and everything that is with teh stable. That to me is the best smell int he world, some people think its really gross, but I LOvE it. I'd smell that forever if I had to. (:
