Noby can really say it, because a lot of people would say: "oh yes i would give them my info, blah, blah, blah", but they CANNOT tell me that the first thing they do is to see if ANYONE saw what happened, and then if you see someone, you play like you are a good citizen and get all your info and all the BS, but i you were gonna give your info, Why did you check if someone saw you?, i think A LOT of people would just leave if they think nobody saw anything, and the cases that you see that people left all the info is because whey were witnesses around, LOL. karma! my as*s

the honest thing to do is leave your details even if the damage is minor and will polish out. If you dont you are taking the risk of someone seeing you, or being captured on CCTV driving away without leaving your details. Its not worth the risk

Yeah I would. I have had several cars hit like that over the years. I know how I feel when it happens. One lady tried being cute about it. She got out of her car and then took a piece of paper and just scribbled stuff on it, and stuck it under the windshield. Luckily, a guy got her number and gave it to me, before I looked at the windshield. I called the police and they gave me her address. I went over to her house and knocked on the door, and asked her about it. She wanted to know how I got her address and name. I told her the Louisville police department gave it to me. I didn't have any trouble collecting on that repair. That did my heart good, and made up for the other times.

By law you are suppose to. It's only fair that if somebody damaged your car by accident, you would want them to leave you with their info too. Unfortunately stuff like these happens way too often, where people would just flee the scene ASAP.

That would depend if anyone seen you do it you "by law" have to atleast leave your info otherwise it would be considered fleeing the scene of an accident which is punishable with big fines and possibly jail time.

if you drive off and the person see's you, could be arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Just tell him and turn it in to your insurance unless uyou dont have it. Then run like hell HA HA

I'm not a cowardly scumbag, so i'd leave my details. Paint damage is expensive to get repaired, as it's not something that simply bolts on.
