Not in its purest form. In its purest form self sacrifice mimmicks selfishness in that the sacrifice you make is the sacrifice of sacrifice. You look after you own self interest to validate the sacrifices that must be made for others. Self sacrifice in its addictive form resembles martyrdom in that you sacrifice even that that sustains you leaving none of you to sustain the sacrifice for others so in the end you actually hurt the ones you help.

Hell Yes! I get more of a exaggerated contentment from helping someone and knowing that I am going to walk away with them owing me a favor, yet refusing to collect. They call it karma, and it is as real as it gets!

Yes it is...... i hava that addiction...... but it makes you more harm that what you actually would think..... sometimes you also have to think of yourself befor others....

sacrificing yourself would be suicide, you can't become addicted to something if you're dead.
