Teddy Roosevelt advocated "Talk softly and carry a big stick." By that he meant be diplomatic but be sure you have a strong defense and don't be shy about using it if other countries became belligerent toward the US. It was successful but Roosevelt is accused of grandstanding in an unnecessary invasion of Cuba on trumped up charges.

Open Door policy would probably be referring to 1880-1920 when the USA received hundreds of thousands of people from Ireland, Italy, Germany, the Balkans, China and Japan. Immigration fueled the economy. This was very successful. Immigrants strengthened our country to emerge post WWII as the strongest country in the world.

Dollar diplomacy would be referring to foreign aid for Third World countries in danger of going Communist. Not so successful. US became a bully to South and Central America.

Moral diplomacy would be Good Neighbor policies like assisting in disasters and the Marshall Plan. It would have to include taking a hard-line stand on human rights abuses. The Marshall Plan was THE most successful foreign policy endeavor of the 20th century. Europe was restored and Berlin was saved from Communist control.
