It has nothing to do with the elinimation of waste or handling your genitals, which I would hope be at least as clean as the rest of you, unless you're a very unsanitary person.

It's because we all live in a filthy, germ infested environment, and the primary vector of germs and viruses is through hand to nose/eyes. Wash your hands a half dozen times a day to kill these germs and viruses and keep them dead and you and everyone around you will live a healthier life.

And that means more than just a quick rinse with warm water. I see people do that and I wonder "What do you think you just accomplished, besides making a wonderfully compatible environment for bacteria to breed?"

Was your hands, with soap, for at least 15-20 seconds, whenever you are leaving a bathroom.

The point is that you held yourself while using it or you wiped yourself after you pee-ed. This is courtesy to wash behind yourself. What would you think if others felt that way and handled your food or shook your hand? You don't know what people are doing while using the restroom or if they have any diseases or communicable issues. Cleanliness and sanitation is safe. Better to be that then sorry.

Have you ever went to a public restroom after so many people have used it, it haven't been attended to and it smells so bad? Think of the odor on your own hands and others! Get the picture? Would you like Waite staff to pick boogers out of their nose while serving your food. No I think not. You would complain to management

it's a fact that the kitchen sink has more germs than the toilet bowl. but it's not about peeing on ur hands. germs can creep up from anywhere, like when you closed the door to the stall, or when you pulled ur pants down, or when you opened the door to the bathroom. just pee in the air.

You know, when you flush, microscopic bits of whatever was in the toilet spews out into the air. Which means it's on the clean toilet paper, the clean doorknob, your clean hands, and your clean a*s.

So please, just wash your hands. It's the least you could do.

Unless you don't wipe, may we hopefully assume that you never do a 2 in a public restroom? If you do, would you be so kind as to tell us where you shop for produce so we can shop elsewhere?

It prevents you from smearing fecal matter on everything you touch including your own food. Don't get your E. coli in the wrong place, bub.
