I'm female, in college, filming a video project.

Will 'they' see me on the security cameras & kick me out?

It's not like I'm going to stick it under the divider into another stall/booth/whatever.

Just want random shots of me trying on random clothes.

As for the camera, there should be no problem if you are just filming yourself. However, they may kick you out because they will think that you are just a nuisance and are not a legitimate customer.

Ask the clerk. They might want to be assured that you will be the only one being filmed. Maybe they will allow you to have a friend film you after you leave the dressing room.

i doubt the cameras are behind the mirros, they are probably hidden somewhere else. I still think its illegal though.

I don't think so, as long as you only video yourself. The worst they would do is take you to the security office and look at your tape.
