My mood has to be "just right" for songs to make me cry, so the songs below don't always do that, but sometimes they give me chills. I think "beautiful" is a better description for them, rather than nice. :) And here they are....

"The Rose" - Bette Midler
"I Hope You Dance" - Lee Ann Womack
"My Heart Will Go On" - Celine Dion
"Everybody Hurts" - REM
"Austin" - Blake Shelton
"Best of Intentions" - Travis Tritt
'Love Can Build a Bridge" - The Judds
"The Living Years" - Mike + The Mechanics (sad song, but happy-ish ending)

"Breathe Me" by Sia and "Drowning In Your Eyes" by Ephraim Lewis. The latter is a song from the early 90's. Both make me think of old boyfriends I loved but had broken up with.~*sigh*~

There are two songs for me (well three - one isn't released)

Everybody hurts - REM
Beautiful - Christine Aguilera

Why - Evenescence (not released)

Why has not been released and is on the internet (for your eyes only album). It is a fantastic song, Amy Lee at the piano...

oh man song by Uncle Kracker--"Follow Me"

Follow me
Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me

Won't give you money
I can't give you the sky
You're better off if you don't ask why
I'm not the reason that you go astray and
We'll be alright if you don't ask me to stay

I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me

You don't know how you met me
You don't know why, you can't turn around and say good-bye
all you know is when I'm with you I make you free
And swim through your veins like a fish in the sea
I'm singing....

The most powerful tearjerker song ever made was " Honey "
By Bobby Goldsborough.
You got to listen carefully to the lyric.
