Hell no!!! I have 2 rabbits and they are adorable, spoiled, and VERY well taken care of. They live in a HUGE cage and roam the house 3-5 a day. They love to snuggle and just chill on the couch with me. No way would I free any rabbits.

Domestic rabbits freed into the wild rarely survive. They are easy prey for predators. Freeing them is cruel. Hey think of it, as a pet they get everything they need! Don't have to search for food, don't have to search for water, they stay dry. Wow! what a great life our rabbits have!

(-: Yeah, ask the Australians about freeing the rabbits. You'll get an earful -- rabbit-sized earful, as a matter of fact.

Free the rabbits? I understand they should have room to roam, but you cannot expect people to release them, because they have NO knowledge on how to fend for themselves and remain safe.
They'd just end up easy prey for another animal. They need to be kept safe, it's part of the responsibility of pet ownership.
