I saw an animated film a couple of years ago about penguins in a zoo, it was around Christmas in the film and one of the penguins escaped from the zoo and ended up in someone's house and the other ones rescued him. It was ages before Happy Feet, and I don't think it was Madagascar which I don't think I've seen. Can anyone tell me what it was called?
There have been so many animated films in the last few years I have trouble remembering all the names. I think it was a full length feature but I might be confusing it with an extra on some other film.

It was an animated "short" which was on the special edition DVD for Madagascar. It featured the penguins from the film, and it was very funny.

One of the penguins wants to get a Christmas present and ends up loose in NY - somehow he gets mistaken for a toy (I think) and gets taken back to a little old lady's home and her dog tries to attack him. The other penguins rescue him and they all go back to the zoo.

I remember this, it was an extra at the beginning of another animated film, Ice Age 2. That was the penguins from Madagascar. It was called 'The Madagascar Penguins in: A Christmas Caper.'
