Use Times New Roman for everything. Usually 12 font. Single space.

I'd suggest Times New Roman 12 font. That is what is required at my law school.

Most want 12 point New Times Roman. It really doesn't matter, but, it should be readable. I like Tahoma and Arial myself. New Times Roman is just to blocky for me.
