Growing up as kids I think we all had a happy place to go to when we felt we needed to be alone. Sitting by a river, swinging in the park, playing with the family pet, hanging out with our best friend, etc. That is what you need to do....retreat to your happy place for a while. Just do yourself one favor .... don't allow this unhappiness to go on for too long. It will only go on for as long as you allow it. I allowed it to go on for 4 years and it took me to depths I would never have guessed. What a waste of my precious life and time. You are a fantastic person Dixie, and I feel sorry for him that he didn't take the time to find that out. For yourself....when we are as a couple we sometimes lose our own idenity, so you need to find Dixie again. Throughout the day if you find yourself dwelling on your past only allow yourself a specific amount of time to grieve and then lock it away. The world will never stop because of ones problems .... but we often stop and we miss life. Find someone you trust and sit and talk with them if you wish... I found that helpful. I know and understand what you are going through ... don't allow it to get the best of you. Don't waste your time caring about someone that dosen't care about you. We can give you all kinds of suggestions on how to get through this but only you can decide when and if you want to put in the work to pull through. I'll remember you in my prayers tonight.

I went through a S**tty break up in January. You need a book called It's Called A Break-Up Because It's Broken. It's in the self help section of book stores. It's actually a funny book, it's by the guy who wrote the book called He's Just Not That Into You.
You might also want to check out the question Do you need a hug.
* You are a strong, fabulous woman. You will get through this. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. This too shall pass.

A healing heart takes time. Enjoy the time you have. Enroll in college, start a hobby, go out and enjoy all the world has to offer.
Go to a spa with a friend a give you a little pamper time that should cheer you up.

Your better life is coming because you are no longer in the situation that caused you to be split from your husband. It's hard to think that way, but you can't get better until you leave what you have. So feel good, because a better life is just round the corner. IT comes quicker then you think.

Girl I feel your pain! I just got out of a long relationship myself. I think that everything happens for a reason. The first month or two will not be easy, just give yourself time, and concentrate on yourself. Try to surround yourself with friends and family, it always helps to have support. Everything will be okay.

you don't have to feel down,
I know when you love some one its hard to forget,
but think this way like I do we born alone unless we are twins,
you can do stuff by yourself like watch a movie, listen music etc etc,
don't do anything that remind you of him try to avoid that,
have fun life is short to waste it thinking about somebody that did not appreciate you,
you are a great person be happy and good luck,

When you're smiling...keep on smiling
The whole world smiles with you
And when you're laughing...keep on laughing
The sun comes shining through
But when you're crying...you bring the rain
So stop your frowning...be happy again
When you're smiling...keep on smiling
The whole world smiles with you....
From the world's biggest and brightest smiler himself:
