I think that's a yes and a no.

I think so because just like JFK, he's young and charasmatic. He's a fresh start and a youthful appoarch to a hurting America. He is little known, and rather radical. I read that one of the answers above stated that he would probably be assinated, and I am inclined to agree.

I say no because Obama is not connected like JFK was. The Kennedys are a powerhouse in politics, and had little trouble putting one child in the presidency, almost two, and have no trouble keeping Ted Kennedy in office, even through drunk driving/vehicular homicide affairs. Obama isn't as well connected, espically since he's been the U.S. senate for two years.

I hope not. John F. Kennedy was the second of the seven commanders-in-chief I served under. On the day he died there were 61 legislative proposals in his pending basket which he couldn't get through a Congress that had a huge majority for his own party. Within 6 months, Lyndon Baines Johnson signed 59 of those proposals into law. I don't need an ineffective policy wonk in the White House. I need a Chief Executive.
