In fractions the numerator is always stated first the denominator is second so if four fifths is written 4/5 what would 5/4 be?

B is 5 quarters which is written as 1 and 1/4 as a mixed number

Just as the first answer states. Or the old "over-under" method, where the 4 is written above the 5 with a horizontal line between them. Either way is correct.

if you want to wite four fifths, then the correct answer would be A). 4/5

If you write 5/4 the answer would be 1.25, which does not have the same answer as the other fraction.
