yeah, how could anyone want equal rights for everyone? what do they think this is, some sort of free nation? i mean, come one, how could anyone think we should all make our own decisions based on what we feel is right? you're right... we should all just listen to someone else to tell us whats right. that makes much more sense.....
i'd rather sit around watching 1% of americans take all the wealth and make decisions for everyone else, i mean, they were born into riches, so they must deserve it, right? just like 500 years ago, if your dad was king, that means you're better than everyone else and you get to be king too.....
by the way, explain to me how giving an american the right to choose their own path is a bad thing. i bet if i told you what to do you'd be pissed, but you think people shouldnt be allowed to choose political correctness, or have gay marriages, or to say that the current cabinet is a bunch of rich white idiots that are money hungry.
just because YOU dont feel something is right, doesnt mean its wrong, and doesnt give you the right to take away that option from someone else. if others had the right to make your life's choices for you... lets say you had to be a muslim, i bet you wouldnt go for that. well, if we dont listen to one person, why should we listen to another? explain to me why i should listen to you any more than i should listen to a crazy islamic terrorist? well guess what, i'm not listening to either of you, i'm making up my own mind based on what i've learned and what i feel is right, and you cant take away that right from any american.
your argument is full of holes. here's the biggest one, you're making a choice to criticize the side of the coin you dont agree with, but you wouldnt have that opportunity if we werent all given equal voice to say what we want, which is exactly what the other side wants, everyone to make up their own mind. so, in reality, just criticizing their side, proves that you want to be able to say what you want and not have others make your decision for you, and all the while you're talking about how people shouldnt be allowed to decide to have abortions, or be allowed to be gay and get married. how can you demand one freedom and deny another?

Easy... we just use logic versus sound bites and demagoguery.
Example of Republican demagoguery...
Gay marriage - Well, if gays were openly accepted, maybe Republican Congressmen wouldn't need to cruise airport bathrooms for gay sex. What kind of family values is that, especially if there's a potential to infect your family with HIV?
Illegal Immigration - Bush has been office for 6 plus years. Only within the last year, due to elections, did he come out with a stand on illegal immigrants. Even now he has no enacted policy in regards to illegal immigrants.
Free Market Capitalist Economy - Bush imposed a tariff on imported steel. Last I heard, tariffs are not free market. Nor is it capitalistic.
Limited Federal Government - How has Bush limited the federal government? He's increased the federal goverment.
Another popular Republican claim, which you didn't mention, is Democrats will spend, spend, spend! The reality is Bush hasn't met a budget he doesn't like. Bush is a deficit spender. In fact, the last time the US had a balanced budget was under President Clinton. Hmmm... Imagine that. A Democratic President that insisted on a balanced budget. I guess it just goes to show that Republican supporters just base their decisions upon stereotypes and demagoguery instead of looking at reality.

By free religious expression in the public square, do you mean some orthodox muslim can stand in the public square and preach his stuff and display Islamic symbols on the lawn of the capitol? Or are you referring to Christianity being the only religion? Limited federal government except a huge military? National sovereignty and autonomy like Iraq has?

Do your homework. I don't think that you have a clue as to what the Democratic party stands for. Some of it is correct. We believe that ALL people should have civil rights (yes LGBT people) and the welfare system is necessary. Yes, some people take advantage of the system but alot of people really need it. Most of you Republicans are Christians, aren't you supposed to be your brothers keeper?
I'm pro choice all the way and I'll fight to the death to insure that abortion stays safe and legal in the U.S.!!!!!!!!!! Public health care? Yeah, every other civilized country has it, why shouldn't we? Free religious expression, we have that already. Brush up on your politics before you ask ignorant questions!!!!!!!!!

you guys with your democrat/ republican questions, you act like there is difference. let me guess the rep's are the conservitive, family values party, that's why we have killed so many civillians in iraq, because they care, and the dem's are the bleeding heart lib's that's why joe lieberman is trying to sneak preemptive war provisions , basically to fast track a war with iran, does any body see what is going on , there is only one party, bickering amongst themselves to distract the
american people and put up an illusion that there are 2 opposing sides, the last time I watched a debate no dem. will even pledge to leave iraq even though that's how they won the last election illusion. after saying all that do you think any of them care about abortion when they are killing and poisining our soldiers as fast as they can, gay marriage!this is all cannon fodder for the masses.....every body go back to sleep............

1. We are a country FOUNDED on freedom of personal belief.
2. Who says YOUR opinion is RIGHT?
3. You used opinions in your describtion of democrats, not facts.
4. You really must be closed-minded not to be able to see benefits from both parties. Really.
5. Don't you think your view of abortions is just a teeny tiny itsy bitsy bit over-the-top? just a little? hmmm? No? well, it is. It's about keeping the freedom of choice. It's not up to the government to make the world perfect. Government needs to keep it's nosy self out of people's private affairs. No one's fighting a battle against chemo, birth control, etc. Same goes for abortion.

I'm not a Democrat in any sense, but it's not the party, it's the candidate running. There could be a better Democrat than Republican even if you WERE a Republican. It's the person, what decisions will they make as president or whatever political office they're running for? It's the person, not the party

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

If what you describe in your rant were any political party one could easily agree but you don't describe the Democratic Party at all. You do however make unsubstantiated claims. Could you please offer something to show validity to your claim. A link or citation from some reliable source would be nice. Without such evidence one can only assume this is YOUR idea and and may very conclude it is pure undaulterated BS.

how could someone vote for a party that supports a tax system where the rich pay less than others? a party that doesn't support civil rights? a party that would put a woman in prison for taking a morning after pill? a party that would allow poor children to starve to death rather than provide any type of "hand outs"? a party that considers gay marriage and illegal immigration the most important issues in our country? a party that sent thousands of soldiers to die based on lies? a party that is against government performing even its most important functions? a party that refuses to tolerate any religion other than christianity?
