Well my mom always had it in her head that if she had a daughter she'd name it Amanda because it's the female derivative of Adam and she's real biblical like that. And my middle name Lauren came from Lauren Bacall, an old actress.

My aunt was pregnant with my cousin and had two names picked out Cortney and christopher. Well her baby was a boy so he is chris and my mom liked the girl name so much that when she found out that i was a girl she named me cortney! my middle name is Renee and that was my moms best friend in high school.

My moms name was Debbie and so was about 6 other girls in her class so she made sure that didn't happen to me. It was an Author of a book. Trenna. Crazy huh? Still haven't met another one.

My mom named me after a name she saw in the paper....Whereas she named my sister after a french bottle of wine she saw in a store in Germany...Go figure... lol
