I need some ideas on how to make a battery costume. I have searched and searched and cannot find one to purchase online or anywhere else. Your help is appreciated.

if you want to get crafty and make it,
How about getting a garbage can and cutting out holes for the head and arms.
Spray paint & detail.

you could also try this:
Get a role of bubble rap insulation normally used for rapping duct work. It is in a cylinder shape already. Cut out openings for face and arms. I left a way to get into it through the back using Velcro strips. Cut out a circle for the top. I used black duct tape to attach it. Use a spray paint cap for the top of the battery.

if not here is a site i found that sell it, (not that good looking)

Well if you are talking a car battery, just use a big box and put some make shift terminals on the top of it. Paint it up nice of course. If you are talking a duracell or energizer type try finding a 55 gallon drum made out of plastic or a poly material, cut a hole in the bottom of it for your head and do the same thing. You could just go as the energizer bunny? Good luck!

9 Volt would be the easiest because it is square. Get a big box and paint it so that it says Duracell or whatever then two round tubes on the top for the positive/negative connectors. Then cut out holes for your arms and head... big fun. Good luck!!

Perhaps 2 wire circles or hoops to make it a cylinder shape? You could also us a third in the middle if you wished.
