We reveal the most to those we love! Think about that for a moment and what it means in the context of our lives. If you will concede the following order of how much we open ourselves to others I believe the list would look like this:

Acquaintances
Co-Workers
Friends
Family (First)
Minister/Priest
Children (Yours)
Boyfriend/Girlfriend
Husband/Wife

At the top of the list we have those we don't reveal ourselves to except when absolutely necessary and as we go down the list you can see that the relationships become much more serious and ending with a spouse, whom we give and reveal ourselves to totally. This leaves us vulnerable to many things the worst of which being pain.

Love, in its purest state is a beautiful and amazing phenomenon. It makes each of us feel loved in return as well as liked, accepted, respected, trusted and cared for. When we expose so much of ourselves to another human being and it suddenly or slowly dies...it is a painful death. We mourn the loss as though the other person has died and in many ways, they have. For now we face life alone, for now or forever. No more will the door open and your spouse run in to kiss you hello or perhaps bring a red rose for your pleasure and as a token of that love. Whatever we have entrusted to that person, our deepest feelings and thoughts, may no longer be held as a confidence. We need and want completion and our consummation has just walked out the door.

We are fearful...and what we fear most, is being alone and unloved! It is the price some of us pay for loving and being loved.

That is just what it is Beautiful amazing to start and to end so painful, that's just love I guess. I've had 2 relationships that was so painful to me I really lost weight , cried my heart out and then I say , "Here I go again'. That's just the way love goes . You think if I will never get over this person I will never , ever love again . But time takes care almost all of it, not quite all of it but most of it. but, if you run into that special love you had with someone and was hurt so bad, your heart will pound, get choked, your hands shake, you feel sick and you ask yourself why, why what happened to us. But when it's over baby it's over.
What really hurts they marry someone else and you see them together that is the worst heartache you can ever have, you even think they still love me I know they do, you fooling yourself .

Love is a word, it does not exist in real scientific form. Dependency, nurturing and actually obsession are a few words that create the overall feelings that make up what we call love. Break up's are painful but easier to get through when you look at these words. It's why people find it easier to move on once they find someone else. It's replacing the need for dependence and nurturing and even pleasure; physically and mentally.

Love is great while it last. But not all good things last forever. Some people were meant to be together forever and some were just meant to be together for a few months. In the end its just fate that decides your future with someone. Don't get sad about love though because everyone has at least one person that will ride it out to the end with them.

Everything has it's goods and evils. Love's just so strong an emotion that its effects are multiplied compared to other emotions. It's the best emotion, but can have the worst effects on you.
