I don't like it. And, as you can tell by the answers here, she will be forever telling people how to correctly pronounce it. Too much trouble for my taste. And who cares if it's "up and coming"? That's actually a turn-off for me. Just cut to the chase and name her Grace.

I've never heard it before, it's not a bad name. But if i were to ever use it, i'd have a different spelling like Grecia or Greyshia because when i saw the name just with the title, my instinct was to read it in spanish and gracias in spanish is thank you, and i dont like that haha

That is so beautiful and it even sounds kind of like the word grace. I would definatly call her Graci for short since it sounds a little less formal. If you do end up choosing that name, I think the middle name should be Renee.

To the peole who don't know how it's said, it's Grah-si-a since it's Spanish. At least I hope that's how you're planning to pronounce it because Grey-si-a is pretty messed up for a Spanish pronounciation (although nickname Grey-si is OK). I slightly prefer Graciela (Grah-si-ay-la) but I think Gracia is less common than Graciela if that's important to you, and it's a lovely version of a classic.

The name is pronounced Gray-sha.... I like the name, but really only if you have an Italian or Latin sounding last name. Using Graci for "short" makes me not like the name as much.

I think it's very pretty - it's actually the original Latin form of the name that everyone would have used hundreds of years ago.
