The first and easiest thing to do is take the spare tire out, along with all of the tools that are in that space. You can take some weight by getting an after market cold air intake. I think this car has a Mass Air Flow sensor so you will need to keep it on there somehow if it is on there. Otherwise, it will run rough and burn more gas.
Only keep a little water in the window washer fluid container. If you don't use the A/C (or it's broken) take the compressor off. Pretty much, take anything off you are not using. (be sure to have enough air in the tires. Though this does not help the weight of the car, it will not take so much power as opposed to running the tires low on air.)
