Where do you take your dysons to get them fixed? Can you take them to the same store you bought it at like you can an Oreck?

I love my Oreck. Had it for 3 years. It's light weight and it does a great job. I have had no problems with mine. Picks up everything on the carpet and you don't have to adjust the height from carpet to bare floors. It works great!!

I just got an update on this lol!!! Can't believe that someone found this after 9 yrs !! I just want to add something on here.. I have my Oreck 2 speed vacuum that was bought for me as a Mother's Day present in 1999. I have done some work to it through the years to keep it going.. new outer bag to look nice.. new baseplate on the bottom... a few new brush rolls ( I have lot's of hair )... maybe something else.. But we are going on 17 yrs and you would expect to do work on something you have that you that's used almost daily.

I love love love my Oreck.

I bumped off all the carpet and put in hardwood flooring or tile for the time of my residing house. Its lots extra easy to apply a commercial length airborne dirt and mud sweeper and a professional janitor mop and bucket than the consistent vacuuming that under no circumstances ends. i exploit huge section rugs that could properly be shampooed, rinsed (then lifted to slip 5 gallon buckets below so it could dry interior the sunlight) on the driveway as quickly as a 12 months. in the past I did that I used to apply a Rainbow vac...any that use water to maintain the airborne dirt and mud is terrific reason it could now not make smaller debris of airborne dirt and mud interior the air. I have been given so uninterested in carpet cleaners that does now not suck out all the water i eventually ran a hose direct from my water heater and sprayed steaming water on then sucking it up with a inflexible save vac.

I've had mine for 2 years now and it's ok but for the price I wish I would have bought a Dyson. It is very easy to use since it is light weight but it really lacks in power.

I think they suck..... No pun intended. Mine wouldn't even clean small confetti sized paper from the shredder machine off the floor.
