Try www.newgrounds.com or www.armorgames.com. Both are Flash based, and if you have the latest flashplayer available, you shouldn't have any problems. They have all kinds of games, from action and adventure to shooters and puzzles.

Well, booaghost.com has lots of games and links to game sites. Check there.
Sometimes you can find random weird games at the bottom in their showcase section that you never heard of before.

Go to play-free-games.org there are a ton of different games there like Mario, Sonic, Puzzles, etc. You'll find what you want.
