Seems like every time the racial crap hits the fan, he shows up and has plenty to say. Do you think he actually helps defuse the situation with sound theories, or just fans the flames and makes things more complicated and tense?

I don't care for him at all. He finds a reason to turn everything into a racial problem. And he Yells all the time to try to prove his point. And he makes the problem worse and try to keep a problem on going. When I see he is on any show I turn the station.

Naw.....I believe this man is legitimate. He is truely one who is a great romodel for his race. Each race has their spokesman leader, let the African Americans have theres. Whether you admit it or not, racism still exist unfortunately. And the truth is, racism is still bigger than homosexuality, gender, and socioeconmic status. The minute an African American stands up for himself he considered irrate, a trouble maker, or someone who needs to be feared and stopped. Its not true. Many have been placed in a cultural situation that granted is up to them to defeat the chain, but you must always go back to its root. Many have never been taught to defend themselves in a legal arena, and even if they do its only so far they will get in it because it wasnt built to protect people of color, it was built to protect the land and wealth of white farm owners against those released from slavery. Come on now, Whites took away there Martin Luther King, there Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks is dead. Let them have their Al Sharpton. It seems that the NAACP, has been infiltrated with so many white poeple that funds them their monetary resources among other things that no longer are they truly concerned about keeping track with color issues, but just keeping things civil. My concern, is he has just cause for stepping up each time that he has. Why should Black people sit back and let a radio spokeperson call positive athletic young black females nappy and bald headed. Is that nice? Is that something that would have been said if she was not Black? Why should he sit back and let a judicial system trial a young black boy for a beating a white kid as an adult after he hung a noose in front of the school? What makes Black people that screwed up that they deserve to be mistreated in those fashions wihtout having someone of a greater social class status to stand on their behalf? Any other race would stick together the same way. Come on now, lets think ratioanl here. These people deserve respect. I happen to know many that earn great livings and want the best for their familly and friends. They have great morals nad character. I also know many white neighbors who commit quite a bit of outrgeous antics. Whats fair is fair....The truth is the truth. It never changes...

It may soon stop as the US Senate passed a 'hate bill' today that will adversely affect anyone who claims to be Christian. And I think he's a blowhard.
