If the rabbit cannot move it's lower body, then most likely the rabbit broke it's spinal chord. Many new rabbit pet owners mistakingly think the signs of a broke spinal chord are an epileptic attack or a heart attack. The way that the rabbit acts after a spinal chord injury can cause the mistaken assumption. However the discerning sign is the lack of most or all movement in the hindquarters of the rabbit. In 25 years of raising rabbits I have yet to have a single rabbit (that I know of) die of an epileptic attack or a heart attack.
There are two times when a rabbit is susceptible to breaking its spinal chord.
1.) Obviously as you found out when you handle them it can happen
2.) When they get scared they will often run around the pen then run into the side of their cage and break their spinal chord
Normally a rabbit doesn't recover from a spinal chord injury and they will normally die within a week. To help preven the second way of it happening that I mentioned, play a radio around your rabbits about 24 hours a day. This gets them accustomed to sound so they don't get scared as easily when there are loud noises or a thunderstorm.
I'm sorry to sound a pessimist but there is little to nothing that your vet can probably do if it is a spinal chord injury. If the rabbit cannot move it's hindquarters after about a half hour or so has passed then most likely it is a spinal chord injury. Once or twice I have seen a very few act paralyzed for a few short minutes due to being over nervous, but if it last longer than that it isn't good.
Just because the rabbit squeals doesn't mean that the rabbit is hurt. If you pick a rabbit up and it is really scared it will squeal even if you aren't inflicting any pain to it.

Even if you are just wondering if something like this has happened GET TO THE VET NOW!! If it was as serious as you think, a broken spine would kill her. A startled or frightened rabbit will shriek like that but then you should worry about possible shock. Observe her carefully. I remember the first time I learned that rabbits shriek when I had my bunny tethered to a small tree in my yard & my doberman (sweet, kind, trustworthy dog) was trying to make nice & lick him...boy did that bunny scream!! They of course became best friends for life & Bummy would do that bunny pee thing in the dobie's face! The dobie would then (like one of those cartoon bubbles over his head) say "Uhh why did my bunny pee in my face?" They also cuddled & slept together & spent most of their time together.

difficult to tell
i assume it is still alive though so it probably just pulled a muscle and reacted with the scream
bunnies can do a big jump and twist type thing (it has a strange name like a flopsy or somthing)
keep and eye on the rabbit and if you are worried go to the vet

if your rabbit had broken its spine it would not be able to move it would go into shock and die so if your rabbit is still moving and is alive then the answer is no
regarding your last comment your rabbit needs a vet if you could not move your legs would you be on here no you would be at accident and emergency

Probably not... Rabbits scream. You most likely startled it. If he is still moving around he is fine...
