On Super Paper Mario level 1-3 / 1-4 how do you get the heart from the ruins??

Here's my boss strategy:
You will have to defeat Fractail, the robot-dragon-guardian of the pure heart. You have to hit his antenna, but you don't hit it while he's attacking you. Instead, when Tippi tell you that he's coming from the right, flip into 3-D and jump onto his back. Be sure to jump; just walking into him will hurt you. You will then be up in the sky on his back, and little pink robots will appear out of no where. Use Thoreau to pick one of them up. Run left until you see the antenna and jump into it, which will hurt him. Pick up another pink dude and get a running start to hit the antenna (or else you don't jump high enough to hit it). Do this as many times as you can until you fall off his back. Repeat until defeated.
