Well... kind of, sort of, maybe.

Keep in mind we're all still individuals. So there is that to factor in. It also depends on region, tribe, family history, etc.

For the most part Native Americans or First Peoples do have facial hair, but it is very fine and thin. They can grow beards or mustaches, but it takes more time and the results aren't like that of say -- a Greek sailor.

Whoever told you that is stupid. Indian men do have facial hair. For the most, we don't have alot like some Hasidic Jew or orthodox Muslim. For proof, look at old photos of Natives from the 1800's. You may not find any hairy chests, but you will find some mustaches and little beards.

Myself, I have a goaty, and I'm full-blood Navajo. I'm sure there is some mixing with non-Natives which some would say is the reason, but I look at all my past leaders. They almost all had mustaches.

lol...there are a few hairy Natives out there. It's quite the sight. LOL!!! Native women LOVE them... lol...

we CAN grow it, but it just takes forever. I haven't shaved for a month and I have a whole half inch of whisker. I buy about 2 packs of razors a year.
Medically all humans have the same amount of body hair, some just thinner hairs then others.

I believe that is a true generalization. But there is so much marriage between, Native Americans, Blacks and Whites that the situation has changed over the years.
