I'd narrow that accusation down to the Bush administration.

Many also believe that the moon landing was faked, that Elvis lives and visits Seven-Elevens randomly and that Britney Spears is an "entertainer".
Terrorists specifically target civilian populations as legitimate military targets. Terrorists do not follow the Geneva convention. Terrorists use the weapons which will cause the maximum carnage possible rather than to limiit the weapon choice to that which is the minimum necessary to accomplish the mission.
I think that those who truly believe that the government is terrorist haven't really been exposed to terrorism and don't have a clue as to the mindset of a terrorist. Or they just define terrorism as any violent action regardless of motive, goal or result. By that logic we have all probably been terrorists at one point or another in our lives.

The people who believe that are just plain ignorant! Iran is a terrorist government, the USA is not. We do not use terrorist tactics. Sending in invading armies is not terrorism; it is war. We are a warlike nation, but we do not use terrorist tactics. We use our military to kill our enemies; our enemies use fanatical Islamic martyrs to attack innocent people.
Terrorism is a tactic used by the weak against a much stronger enemy. Iran supports terrorists, as does Syria, and some members of the Pakistani government.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. All depends on your perspective does it? To the British I'm sure George Washington was a terrorist, to the American colony people he was a freedom fighter. See what I mean?

What is a terrorist? A coward that wears civilian clothes and murders innocent women and children.
What is an American soldier? They are dressed in a uniform that signifies they are not a civilian. They fight the cowards hiding amongst civilians.
Sure civilians get caught in the cross fire, that is where the murdering cowards hide. Amongst the women and children. It works either way for them. If they get away, they can fight again. If they get caught, then some of the civilians are surely going to get hurt. That's the way of the Murdering Muslim Religion.

Our government is made up of elected officials. We ARE the government. Think we're terrorists?
Option #1 - Then get off your **** and go campaign for someone whom you like. That's the way the system works.
Option #2 - If we are the terrorists, then Al-Qaeda, Iran, and the Saddam must be the good guys . . . move overseas and co-habitate with them.

I think we would do anything in our power to look after our own self interests, no matter who we have to step on to do it! As has been the case in the past. Is this right or wrong? That is up to the individuals in this country to decide. Have we committed wrongs in the past? You bet we have. Will we in the future depends on the American people.

There are plenty of Americans who believe this administration is acting like a bunch of terrorists. We've invaded Iraq, and in the process, thousands of innocent Iraqi's have died. I'm not saying they were all killed by Americans but since Bush invaded, there have been more terrorist attacks and more terrorist groups are being formed.
