BTW- Those 6 young men do not deserve to be charged w/ murder and serve life. Don't you ppl watch Court.tv? They said that leading up to this event, there was a black kid who was beaten by white kids and all they paid was a friggin fine???
The black community only wants EQUAL treatment within the legal system! If your going to charge the white kid that commited the same crime and make them pay a fine, then try to charge the black kid w/ murder?? Get a life!!

Maybe I understand and care more because I am white w/ 3 mixed black/white sons who will be viewed by society as black men. I don't want my sons screwed like that when their men!!

This is just plain wrong!! And I'm glad that young man was finally release on bail!! They were holding him illegally w/o posting a bail amount!!

I don't feel these young men should be freed w/o any punishment. They shouldn't have assulted that ignorant racist kid, period! Just like the white kids shouldn't have assulted the black kid earlier, period! I just like to see for once blacks & whites being punished the same way!!

the jena 6 are a group made up of 6 teenage african american males who randomly picked then attacked a white male classmate in revenge for an attack that happend to an african american a fews days earlier.they also claim that a incident that occurred monthe previous where some nooses were hung in a tree at school were to blame but the nooses had nothing to do with this attack.the 6 sucker punched the victim knocking him unconscious then while one of the 6,mychal bell, stood on the victims head the other 5 took turns viciously stomping and kicking the victim.they were all charged with attempted murder because of the vicious nature of the attack.mychal bell,who was 16 at the time of the attacks,was charged as an adult because he had been arrested 4 times before for assault and the prosecuter was tired of giving this kid chance after chance and this has angered the african american community because all they see is his age overlooking all the evil this young man has done.they feel its an grave injustice to convict such a violent person as an adult so they organized a huge protest headed by reverend al sharpton to get the adult charges dropped so mychal could be tried as a juvenille.they also say the convictions of all 6 were an injustice because they were convicted by an all white jury neglecting to mention that the african americans who received a jury duty summons failed to appear leaving the jury pool full of whites.they also say this was just a school fight and the 6 should just be suspended from school for a few days then be allowed to go on as if nothing happend.how many unconscious people have you ever seen fighting?this wasnt a fight it was a gang attack by 6 criminals on another person and they all should be in prison.
