HOW DO I SELL THINGS OVER EBAY plz tell me?

can i make people send me cash instead of a credit card cuz i dont have 1 and my dad does not like the idea of puttting ur credit card number on line and i really want to sell these dbz collectables wich are worth alot plz tell me everything u know on how to sell on ebay thanks

You can request that people pay you in cash only, but that is a dangerous way for people to send money, and many potential buyers may shy away from your auction because of it.

The way to accept money for ebay sales is through PayPal. You can register your name and email and have people pay you that way--it is the number one way to send or receive money on ebay. Then people can pay you with e-checks, credit or debit cards or direct withdrawals. You just have to register a checking account with the PayPal account. There are millions of people that have done it. I understand your father's hesitency, but PayPal is pretty safe for giving your account numbers to.

If all else fails, you can just list your items and request money orders ONLY.

If you are not already a registered seller on eBay, then you're required to offer people the chance to pay, either with a credit card or PayPal.

Setting up an account with PayPal is pretty secure; you're not putting the information online, just sharing it with PayPal.

you need a credit card no matter what... its part of the business. you will never have someone send you cash because there is no receipt unless you have sold locally.

There are instructions on how to write up an ad, templates to download, how to insert photos, use the instructions on the website they are really quite complete.
