Xbox=Better graphics
Just remember, PS2 still has new games coming out

I personally have never owned an XBOX, but have played it just as much as my PS2. If your old enough to get good games like Halo then I'd say go for it. PS2 doesn't really offer as many oppurtunities for fun gaming. I have a ps2, and I only like it because it has Kingdom Hearts. If I were to choose right now I would wait for a Xbox 360. Then later on in life get a PS3. But if you jus tare deciding between these two, get an XBOX, better deal and more fun in my opinion.

Right now ps2 vs xbox. ps2 is better as they are not making games for xbox anymore.
