I smelt some lovely roses on Monday. I picked them from my own front garden and took them to work with me. I purposefully picked the roses, to take to a 95 year old lady. She is one of my clients and gets a bit down. She loves roses.

Last time I smelt a flower was at Castle Howard a few weeks back, it was a rose, and it brought back memories of sitting with my grandad in his rose garden which he loved to tend in the latter years of his life x

The last flower i smelt was a Jasmine, in my garden last summer
It reminds me of my grand daughter because i planted it when she was born

About a month ago, I smelled a gardenia, and it reminded me of my summers at my dad's in Georgia...he had a big gardenia plant next to the porch where the porch swing was hung....my favorite place to sit.

the daylillies in my sister's wedding flower centerpieces. didn't bring back any memories but they sure smelled yummy!! i love flowers

Tonight, roses that my hubby brought home for me, yes it did bring back memories, my mom loved them and they always remind me of her.

This month, Red Roses when I was ordering them as a late birthday surprise for my fiancee, and no they weren't late because I forgot, they were because she was with me on her birthday and the day I wanted them delivered was the following day when she was home with her family
