I need to order an HP Laserjet P2015dn printer (for work) and found almost an identical model with the same specifications but it has a "d" instead of "dn" after the number: P2015d. What is the difference?

Laserjet 2015d can do doupble sided printing
laserjet 2015dn can do double sided printing AND has network card included for network printing

If it's for an office environment and you have a network installed, get eh DN, it's better value, if they have the DTN it will have more flexible paper options (IF that model can take extra trays, some low end ones might not)

The basic method HP Use is

MODEL No Base printer
Model + D = With duplex option installed (or in box anyway)
Model + N = With network interface included
Model + D + N = with Duplex unit (double sided) + Network
model + D + T + N As above but with extra paper trays too

D=Duplex Capable and N=Network Capable

The N suffix is most likely a location or store identification number.

Some big box retailers have peripherals made specifically for them with different options or warranty coverage. These will usually have a slightly different model number but be no different than the other one.
