"You have questions — and I have answers on oral sex, masturbation, and everything in between (the sheets). Here's what you need (or at least want) to know about safe sex during pregnancy:
Oral sex: Oral sex is as safe as it is pleasurable throughout pregnancy as long as your partner doesn't blow any air into your vagina. (There's a theoretical risk that forcefully blown air could enter your bloodstream and cause an embolism, obstruct a blood vessel, and prove deadly to both you and your baby.) Oral stimulation of the penis is also safe during pregnancy, as is swallowing semen.
Anal sex: Anal sex is probably safe during pregnancy, but proceed to the back door with caution. First, it probably won't be comfortable if you have hemorrhoids, an occupational hazard of pregnancy; plus anal sex can make your hemorrhoids bleed. Second, you'll need to remember the same safety rules of anal sex whether you're pregnant or not: Never go from anal to vaginal sex without cleaning up first. Doing so may introduce harmful bacteria into your vaginal canal, setting you up for infection and risk to the baby.
Masturbation: Unless orgasm is off-limits because of a high-risk pregnancy or premature labor, masturbating during pregnancy is perfectly safe — and a great way to release all that tension you're feeling.
Vibrators or dildos: As long as your practitioner has okayed vaginal penetration (probably off-limits if you have incompetent cervix, placenta previa, preterm labor, or other conditions), dildos and vibrators are safe to use during pregnancy; after all, they're just mechanical versions of the real thing. But be sure anything you introduce into the vagina is clean before you use it and be careful not to penetrate the vagina too deeply with it. "

It's safe to continue normal activity until your water breaks unless there are complications. Sex near the end of pregnancy is a great way to ripen the cervix and encourage labor!

i think sex is a need that has to be fulfilled
in the safest way possible even in the last day before delivery .i think the couple should avoid wild sex during all pregnancy . the man in particular should be very careful when he engages with his pregnant wife not to cause the baby to come before he or she is due . the man should come as i understand from the side of the pregnant woman while she should be on her back . the man should avoid a situation where he comes on top . and i think using her rectum during pregnancy may cause a miscarriage especially in the last two months of pregnancy .

So long at your membranes are intact...that is your water hasn't broken or your doctor hasn't tole you not to...sex is fine...even good...Semen has prostaglanins in it, a type of hormone that is synthectically used to ripen the cervix during an induction...Beging sexually arroused signals your body to release Oxytocin another hormone that helps aid labor...
The good news is sex can't trigger labor until you are pretty much ready anyways...
And since first timers tend to go past their estimated due date...it can even help not prolong the onset of labor...

You are ok to have sex throughout your whole pregnancy unless your doctor restricts you from doing so if your pregnancy is high risk. Some doctors even believe that having sex can induce labor.

I was told it's ok at all times especially at the end. I can't remember names and all but my doc said that my husband has something in the sperm that can help things move along so he will especially recomment it at the end. Sorry I can't be more specific.

As long as you are comfortable then it is fine. It is an old wives's tale that the best way to get labor started is to have sex. As long as you are comfortable and your doctor hasn't told you not to then it is ok.

It is safe throughout your entire pregnancy unless you are labeled high risk.
It might be more uncomfortable for you though in that last month.
