depending more then likely on when the TV Station running the game thinks would be the best time to market to the public. to get the widest range of viewers.
and conflicting with another playoffs series's game....youd get more baseball with having a 1 PM game then a 5 PM game.
thats what we all want right??? haha

The broadcasting nets pretty much run this table. They want the bigger market teams (especially the Yankees and Mets) in the prime time slots -- 7:00 or 8:00 pm Eastern -- any time but Sunday. Bigger draw, better ratings, higher advertisement fees, money munny money!!!

The bigger TV markets get first dibs on games. So if an east coast or west coast team is playing they get the best time slot......
