I used to get bitten regularly when I was a little kid, but one summer they just stopped. Why? My biology teacher has no idea.

Mosquitos are indeed attracted and repelled from people for multiple reasons.

Attracted:

-Higher body temperature,
-less clothing->shows more skin->more area to bite on and more area emenating heat
-Some foods people eat seem to attracted them, like bannanas
-Different exchange of Co2
Repelled:
-Lower body temperature
-More clothing
-Particular smells(from eating foods,ect)

And also as mentioned earlier some people really do react much differently. I don't get a red bump at all when I get a bite. Some people though it is HORRIBLE. Very itchy ect.

Many types of bites/contact poisonous plants seem to be different effects on different people.

I, too, have stopped getting mosquito bites. That is, I don't have the little raised itchy spots where the mosquito bit me.
I have, however, seen mosquitoes bite me. Apparently I am no longer having an allergic reaction to mosquito saliva. That's my best guess.

Cause they know whats good for them. they dont want to get mashed.

I dont know. but i'll still accept a couple points.

I'm going to take a guess and say that there is something in the brand of deodernt that you use or in the brand of shampoo that you started using that mosquitos dont like.

It would be interesting to do a little research by studying the ingredients in the hygiene products that you use and compare those ingredints with formulas of popular mosquito repellant.

They are drawn by the carbon you breath out. Everybodies lungs change a different amount of oxygen into carbon dioxide, maybe you have very low levels of exchange. Just an idea.

The mosquito's may be detecting an irregularity in your blood like anemia or something and therefore makes the blood unappealing to them

mosquitos are attracted by the CO2 we exhale and by body heat. It could be you have a lower than average body temp, so you just don't look tasty to them in the infrared.
