I'm with nixitee, I say open it up and let some of the fluid drain out. If that doesn't work, put him back in the microwave but make sure it's on DEFROST this time. That's where she went wrong. Now, if the other side starts to bulge out then you should take him to the vet.

No! Where the bleep were you when your spawn did this?! Microwaves + live animals = dead or dying animals! It's called common sense! Take the poor gerbil to the vet and have him euthanised. Don't you let your spawn get another pet until she's grown some brains!

My very First Yahoo question and OMG I am so mad.Where were u when your kid stuck the gerbil In the microwave?And OMG you breeded?If this isn't a joke I feel so sorry and bad for that gerbil.And I am not sure of where you live, BUT fix your **** heat! YOU have a child to care for ,and apparently YOur not doing That or you would have stopped her from microwaving the poor lil thing.YOU are horrid!!

No, it will not heal, you need to take it to the vet, you owe it that much, and help that poor hurt animal. how old is your daughter anyway, that is animal abuse, cruelty. Teach her how to have an animal or do not have animals. You do not give children animals with out having some kind of education given to them about the animal it Ridiculous!

No this will probably not heal, his intestines probably ruptured. Y wouyld she do that? instead you should have put some extra shavings or a small washcloth in there for him to curlk up inside. s he in youre house?

wtf....WTF?! Fix your heater & watch your kid! Especially after she says something along the lines of "oh can i put him inthe microwave?"!!!! Next time she is cold keep her away from the fireplace!
