Yes I know it's expensive, but hopefully it will last awhile and she can use it for interviews, dates together, etc.

Would you wear this top?

She is 33, 5'5" dark brown hair, light complexion. Trying to get as many opinions as possible before I take the plunge and get it for her.

I wouldn't wear it because I don't like anything that makes me feel that constricted. Turtlenecks etc... But if she wears turtlenecks often it is a beautiful blouse so I would say go for it. However, Do check her closet to see if she has mostly low cut shirts shirts. That is a lot of money to spend if she isn't going to wear it.

I'd look in her closet and see if she has anything else that is similar to it. If not, then no I wouldn't get it for her. It is definately a pretty blouse, but I think the comfort level would be of some concern. If she has a black suit, it would go great with it. Wearing a tight neck is a personal choice, I wear them in the winter with a suit or uner a blazer, but, some people feel too confined in a tightly wrapped neckline.

the shirt is nice, but the real question is: it her style. Personaly i cant pull off the big bow in the front b/c I am kind of busty and it would just add to it. other girls might not feel comfortable with the large bow there. if you have seen her wear something like this before or she doesnt have a problem wearing things that have some attention grabing detail then its okay. worse come to worse just exchange it for something else. Nordstrom is okay with that

Unless you know this is her style I would opt out on this. It takes the right kind of person and build to wear something like this. It is also way over priced. Then again if she has had her eye on it then go for it. She will love that you noticed something she liked.
Personally I wouldn't wear it, it's not my style and the neck looks like it would be uncomfortable.
What is most important is what does she like.
Good Luck!

well it is very pretty and classy but not what I would consider clothing for a job interview. If your wife likes to get clothes for a gift then go ahead.
I would not wear that top though but it is just a thing I have about stuff on my neck like that..and bows always feel dorky to me *LOL*

I think the top is beautiful, and the metallic look is in. And she would be able to wear it with slacks, jeans, and skirts. Personally I couldn't wear it because I can't stand for anything to be that high around my neck. If you think she's ok with that part...go for it. I hope she likes it!

The top looks nice and has a great color. But the neck looks like it's tight.

will she wear that? does that fit her style? i think maybe a nice purse or maybe a really nice necklace would be a little better. if you get her jewelry, that is something that won't wear out.
