cc= carbon copy bcc= blind carbon copy... Basically when you list your contacts in the cc section then all those people get to see all the other addresses you sent the email to. When you use bcc then each person only sees their own address not every address you sent the email too. It is courteous to use bcc when sending out all those forward emails.

When you forward an email, and use a bcc- the recipient will not see the other email addresses of the people you forwarded it to.
bcc- means blind carbon copy. email addresses do not show.
cc- carbon copy. means the email addresses still show up.
I always use a bcc.
I learned years ago that most people do not want their email addresses indiscriminately distributed for the world to see, and I respect that.

(Blind Carbon Copy) - BCC is a method of hiding certain recipients of an email from the rest of the recipients.

cc (stands for "carbon copy") is just a place to put additional addresses. Some people use to separate the addresses the don't expect a reply from and use the "To:" for those they do.

bcc (stands for "blind carbon copy") if for addresses that will recieve the mail but not show up on the mails received by other people. In other words, addresses in the "to" or "cc" are visible to everyone who the message is sent to while those addresses in "bcc" are not.

bcc means blank carbon copy, this is when you want to send someone an email and carbon copy someone else without the recipient knowing.

cc means carbon copy. This allows you to send a copy of an email to another person whom you want to know about the email but who is not necessarily the recipient.

I use these mostly for work functions, like when you want to send an email to someone and you need your boss to see that you sent it. So you would make the recipent the person who the email is meant for and then cc your boss so he gets a copy of it.

CC is carbon copy which is to copy people on an email that they are not required to respond to, kind of like an "FYI". BCC is blind carbon copy which means only the sender can see who is copied, none of the recipients can see who has been BCC'd
