They were talking about it on This Morning. A man was on talking about his sister who was murdered by her husband's family because she had an affair. The mother in law is now in prison for life. What are your thoughts on the subject?

Killing is killing; murder is murder, what more do you need to know? Just because some idiots kill under the guise of "honor" (what insanity) does not make it OK. The FBI had wiretapped this man's house (for an entirely different purpose, they just happened to do it right before the murder) and he and his wife waited for their teenage daughter to get home from school. They were Muslim and had strict rules about dating, makeup, etc. When the daughter got home, a girl of about 15, the father stabbed her to death while the mother held her and the horrifed FBI agents couldn't do a thing, but they did have the audio as evidence. You could hear the girl begging for her life, begging her parents. it was dreadful. Her crime? She wanted to go out with friends and wear makeup...does that make sense to you? That is an example of an "honor" murder.

According to my religion, which is Christianity, this type of act is wrong. I've heard of these killings before, mainly among Middle Eastern cultures, and it makes me sad to know that people who make mistakes are simply murdered. It is also against the law in the United States, so if this occurs in our country, I support prosecuting and punishing those who take part in this crime. If it occurs in the Middle East, there really isn't much that can be done. It is not necessarily a crime over there. It's sad, but families have and continue to get away with this over there.

What a question I`ve basically been listening to a woman on the run in concern for her existence. She defined that honour killing is a few form of previous tribal custom and that the west look to have related it to Islam because of the fact diverse the tribes that carry it out are incredibly of the muslim faith. She somewhat quoted from the Q-uran as to the evil of one in each and every of those convention and suggested that anybody engaging in it is somewhat condemning themselves to eternal damnation..!! So it`s a criminal offense against the guy the state and the religion. it could`t get from now on evil..!!
