Hi the path to the afterlife has many routes, to guarantee the how should we say, across the bridge, the way is enlightenment, this can be through religion, or through spiritual enlightenment, when you pass into spirit there are many factors that are examined by the hierarchy of spirit, will you be sent back for the birth and rebirth cycle, until all the lessons have been learned, or will you become a guide for someone, it will depend how much positive and negative Karma you have received,or earned as you have past through various lifetimes. the type of afterlife you have is up to you for some individuals that believe that when they die they close their eyes and that is it that will happen and their spirit will be blown away by the four winds, the whole story would fill a book, but that is it in a nutshell, love and light Graham
