Probably because the emphasis for so long was getting the customer back by having tasty food not healthy food, it's starting to change but there's only so much that can be done to make it healthy, the types of food they have.
Long time ago when I was a kid, going out to McDs or KFC or whatever was a "treat" you maybe got once or twice a month, not several times a week now that some kids get, there seemed to be a lot less fat kids then, maybe it needs to be fewer and father between "treats" again.

I only eat at places like that maybe 3-4 times a month. People who gorge on burgers, fries and shakes every day, now that is ridiculous. Some people have no idea what moderation is. Also busy people like me who work full time and are working on a college degree simply do not have time for more than a fast food meal. I am aware that people out there say I have a death wish because I love DQ and I like McDonalds.. but you know what? I work out, I'm active, and I consider those places a TREAT, not a daily requirement. And for those of you who are vegetarians, don't judge meat eaters for liking what they like. It is no one's business to tell me what I can and cannot eat.. unless you are my doctor. =)

I love it too and It's because our tastes are years behinds today's society. Back when we were cave men our taste buds told us what was good for us to eat, and since we worked so hard all day everyday, and food was scarce high fat and high calorie foods tasted best to us. And they still do, however, it's bad for us today because we don't need/use that fat and calories and food is so plentiful. Our taste buds just haven't caught up with today's lifestyle.
However, it isn't necessarily deadly. If you eat it in moderation or exercise a lot it is just fine for you because you use that fat and calories.

Have you seen the latest Taco Bell commercial with the new
extra cheesy burrito? They even have the grim reaper sitting on a park bench with another person and they both have all these cheese strings going from the burrito to their mouths. How obvious is that?

Fast food does not make people fat! People get fat by sitting on their butts doing nothing but watching TV or playing video games! I have been working at Mc Donald's for almost a year and I have not gained an ounce. I have actually lost weight!

I like the taste of fast food too, but everytime I eat it I know that I will gain some weight. It's okay to have fast food once in a while, but not everyday.

your taste is in trouble. they are using taste amplifiers. and other things to create at least some taste to this garbage food. the other thing is, that you never ate real good food, vegetarian food cooked with love and devotion. so your scale is a bit poor. if you find the higher taste you can let go of the lower one.
if you don´t know how honey tastes you will work hard for your daily dose of sugared water. ok?

All junk food taste good but id bad for us. It's just how the food companies try to get us to buy more of their food. They have scientists to make their food more delicious, even though it can make us unhealthy.
Just don't eat at those places. Subway is good too, and it's good for you.

They are loaded with sugar, even the burgers. That gives you a natural high, but at the same time is bad for your health. I love them too.
